Apple Bottoms was one of the many businesses founded by Cornell Haynes Jr. who’s also popularly known as Nelly, the rapper, music mogul, Grammy award winner, and actor. In 2003 He came up with launching a clothing line along with his friend Ian Kelly, and Cousin Yomi Martin. They altogether started out the business of a lifestyle & clothing brand where they initially sell the now famous “Apple Bottom Jeans”. It has become very popular for women’s clothing and later on Apple Bottoms primarily caters to female clothing line from all shapes and sizes that are fashion forward or trendy. Nelly’s objective is for the clothes to fit perfectly to a woman and not for a woman to fit in the clothes.
As this business rapidly becomes the urban clothing, we all saw the different side of Nelly. In 2009 Apple Bottoms fragrance by Nelly was launched along with his new album. Due to the wide campaign of his brand, Apple Bottoms continued to grow into a business that is not only known nationwide but worldwide.
Today, they are not selling only women’s clothes, their also catering perfumes, swimsuit, bags, and accessories, footwear children’s clothes and many more. Aside from Apple Bottoms, Nelly also started his business with men’s clothing line called Vokal and also an Energy drink called Pimp Juice. He also partnered with Nike and released a limited edition sneaker called “Air Derrty”. In the same year Nelly also became the Chief Executive Officer of Derrty Entertainment.
